December is just days away and craft brewers are addressing the cooling weather with exciting new offerings you’re gonna want to chase down this weekend.

Back In The Daze (San Luis Obispo, CA) – SLO Brew is sprucing up its new holiday release with the essence of actual Christmas Trees. Crafted with heaps of fresh spruce tree tips, Citra hops and a touch of orange peel, SLO Brew Holidaze IPA is a bright and juicy 7% ABV India Pale Ale that drinks like a winter hike through a pine forest.

“We wanted to invoke the sensation of a fresh-cut Christmas tree in beer form,” said brewmaster Steve Courier. “One sip of Holidaze and you will be greeted with bold piney hop flavors that are sure to get you in a festive spirit”.

Stone Stuffer (Escondido, CA) – Stone Brewing has returned its annual holiday seasonal with a refreshed recipe and look. Combining the decadent inspiration of fine Oaxacan Hot Chocolate and the beloved Tres Leches cake, Stone Xocoveza Tres Leches is an 8.5% ABV Imperial Stout with a robust blend of sweet spices, a ton of dark and milk chocolate, vanilla, and cold brew coffee.

“I fell in love with Stone Xocoveza the first time I tried it many years ago,” said Stone co-founder Greg Koch. “I do believe that this new recipe is my very favorite version we’ve ever produced.”

Winter Timed (Kansas City, MO) – Boulevard Brewing has a special year-round offering that’s even more appealing during the winter months. A mix of 2/3 whisky cask-aged and 1/3 fresh brewed beer, Boulevard Whiskey Barrel Stout is an 11.8% ABV blended ale with robust flavors of vanilla, espresso, whiskey, chocolate and  just enough hops to round things out.
