Summer may not have “officially” arrived but it’s close so you’re gonna need beer. Luckily American craft brewers have got this, especially if you enjoy IPAs.

Get Juiced (Seattle, WA) – Elysian’s Space Dust Series has a juicy variation that’s absolutely worth chasing down. Officially launched in its small brewery taproom in 2024, and now nationally available, Elysian Juice Dust is 8.2% ABV India Pale Ale with underlying hints of sweet tropical fruit, banana, and guava, that incorporates real orange juice during the brewing process.

Protect Our Rivers (Colorado) – Odell Brewing has partnered with Protect Our Rivers and will now feature their logo on all cans of one their most popular year-round offerings, bringing river stewardship directly into the hands of craft beer lovers. Pouring a brilliant light straw  color with a frothy white head, Odell Lagerado is a crisp, 5% ABV  American Lager with subtle notes  notes of biscuit, honeysuckle, and delicate fruity esters that complement the malt.

Odell and Protect Our Rivers’ partnership aims to reach more people with a simple but urgent message: rivers are vital, vulnerable, and worth protecting. In addition to featuring the Protect Our Rivers logo on Lagerado, Odell Brewing is making a significant donation to the organization to help fund clean rivers and healthy ecosystems, and to inspire the next generation of river advocates.

Three cans of Odell Brewing Co. Lagerado "Crispy Lager" are shown side-by-side, displaying different parts of the wraparound label. The artwork features a scenic Colorado mountain landscape with a winding train, evergreen trees, and a flying bird, all in a blue, gold, and green color palette.

“Over the past five years, Odell and Protect Our Rivers have proven what collaboration can do. Together, we’ve organized 41 river cleanups across Colorado, mobilized 4,368 volunteers, and removed 51,341 pounds of trash from local waterways,” said Karla Baise, Director of CSR Community Outreach at Odell Brewing. “Protect Our Rivers is the perfect partner for a brewery that relies on Colorado river water to make world-class craft beer.”

Plans For A Big Trip (Atlanta, GA) – SweetWater Brewing, currently the leading craft beer brand in the Southeast, has released, a high-ABV extension of its popular Daytrip IPA that delivers  bright citrus notes and a smooth, tropical aroma. Built on a deft mix of Mosaic, Idaho 7, Sultana, Citra, and El Dorado hops and a modest malt bill that avoids the heavy malt presence sometimes found in other Imperial IPAs, SweetWater Big Trip Double IPA is a balanced 9% ABV India Pale Ale that the brewery expects will appeal to both hard core craft fans and casual drinkers.

“Double IPAs continue to trend in popularity as the number two craft style in the Southeast,” said Evan Woolard, Senior Brand Manager for SweetWater Brewing. “Building on the huge success of Daytrip, we are doubling down on the flavor, ABV and innovation with Big Trip.”
