3 Floyds Brewing Announces 2020 Dark Lord Release Details

In March 3 Floyds Brewing cancelled Dark Lord Day, an annual all-day Heavy Metal celebration and Dark Lord Stout release.

But on Monday, October 19th at 3 pm CST, 3 Floyds brewery will be releasing the much anticipated Dark Lord Stout along with this year’s variations, while they last, at its Munster, Indiana brewing compound.

Dark Lord packages are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each package will cost $170 and include four bottles of Dark Lord, one bottle of a rare variant, and a tote bag.

“Customers can buy up to two packages and if you do purchase two packages, the rare variant will be different in each one while supplies last,” according to Porch Drinking. “Details on this year’s rare variants have not yet been released.”

Samuel Adams Opens New Beer Garden at Faneuil Hall

Beer garden season in Boston hit a wall last summer thanks to COVID-19, but things are beginning to open up, although with understandable social distancing restrictions.

Trillium Brewing finally opened their downtown summer beer garden, but it did have to wait till the fall.  And now Samuel Adams is moving into part of Ned Devine’s Irish Pub at Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall to create a beer garden where beer lovers can explore the brand’s beer in a more socially distant environment.

Ned’s Beer Garden by Sam Adams debuts this month (exact opening date to come) and will remain in place for the foreseeable future

On January 30, Samuel Adams opened a new taproom and experimental brewery in Faneuil Hall. But that much anticipated new venue has been impacted by coronavirus restrictions and is currently only offering takeaway service.
