We've now reached our Twelfth state on the list, The Gem State of Idaho. Besides those world famous potatoes, the state is known for their large annual production of the nation's hops, being the third largest hop growing state with around 10% of the total each year.

So many beers- So little time... Fall has arrived and with it the beers of the season - and we've a number of interesting new releases that you'll want to chase down....Plus we've some new offerings from Tallgrass and HUB that say goodbye to the summer and hello to the winter that's coming.

When you are one of nearly a dozen breweries located within a five-mile radius, you have to do things a little differently to really make a name for yourself. Reuben's Brews is just such a place. Nestled in the middle of Seattle's Ballard neighborhood, they have 24 taps pouring a variety of your favorite beers, and they are doing what they can to give back to their community. 

October has arrived (say goodbye to pumpkin beers and hello to winter warmers)...And clearly nothing's slowing down anytime soon. But no worries - Rumor Mill is always on the case, keeping you plugged in to all the craft beer news that matters. Plus we've an all-important update on what we've been drinking lately and you absolutely don't want to miss that.

Starting a successful brewery like American, isn't enough for Neil Fallon. He had already picked an underserved location, started with an iconic head brewer, and grown his business and beer portfolio in just four short years. His brewery now has a fervent following with a constantly sold out mug club. He's even done a major league collaboration with Celebrity Chef Simon Majumdar.

It sounds like American Brewing is doing just fine...right?  But no great story would ever end there. 

We blame the industry for this... It used to be that when we wrapped up our Weekend Picks on Friday, we could coast through the weekend. There was little need to check in for updates - things were pretty much done. But clearly all that's changed.
