With the 4th now well behind us, mid-summer is ON! And American craft brewers are addressing the warm weather smart new beer offerings you’re gonna want to have around.

Exhibit “A” (Framingham, MA) – Exhibit “A” Brewing Company has a new limited release that the brewery describes as a “contemporary take on a classic American IPA recipe.”  Brewed in support of the Northeast Grainshed Alliance, using only locally grown and malted grains, Exhibit “A” Market Gap is a 6.7% ABV American IPA that’s slightly bitter, piney, and balanced with a light malt sweetness.

Oh Hi! (Ventura, CA) –  Craft beer pioneers, New Belgium Brewing, and botanical brew experts, Flying Embers have a new collaboration that melds New Belgium’s extensive sour beer program with Flying Embers’ groundbreaking Kombucha fermentation techniques.

Inspired by the place Flying Embers calls home, Ojai, California, New Belgium / Flying Embers Oh, Hi! is a 6.5% ABV Session Sour that features Flying Embers’ “Original Essence” Kombucha hard tea blended with New Belgium’s wood-aged golden sour beer, and finished off with California pixie tangerines and a touch of Colorado sage.

“To create Oh Hi, we combined each of our bases so that both cultures would shine and added a hint of a signature ingredient from each of our geographical regions,” said Lauren Limbach, Wood Cellar Director and Blender at New Belgium Brewing. “It’s like having the windows rolled down on a road trip from Ojai to Fort Collins.”
