Stupid Beer Crimes: Busch Light Argument Leads To Shovel Attack
In today’s increasingly polarized climate it’s getting difficult to talk about too many things. Politics is a major no-no (especially after Trump) and conversations about religion can get just as volatile.
But who knew that a somewhat negative observation about Busch Light would ignite an all-out shovel attack?
According to the Drinks Business an unnamed Alabama man had to be hauled off by the police after attacking his neighbor with a shovel. The reason for the shovel attack was allegedly because the neighbor had told him that Busch Light beer “tastes like water,” a criticism that might be launched against any number of beers.
The incident, however, did lead to number of funny comments on twitter…

“How DARE you insult water like that!”
“The hell it does. Water is delicious and refreshing. Busch light is bland and awful.”
“I’m going to guess it was not just his opinion of, but also his recent consumption of Busch Light that precipitated this attack.”
“To be fair, some Canadian beers also taste like water.”
“Not true, some also taste like mud,”
“Not all heroes wear capes.”
And our favorite…
“BUSCH LIGHTS MATTER!”
American Craft Beer tried to source the original article which led to this twitter barrage but was unsuccessful…So to be fair we’re not sure there’s an actual basis or this report.
Most mug shots show up with actual names attached. And most arrests are in counties or towns, not just states. They’re also usaully attributed to specific police departments…just sayin’.
This could just be a case of Busch Light trolling by someone that doesn’t particularly like the beer or people from Alabama. And truthfully some of those new low-carb, low-calorie craft beers aren’t all that either.
