American craft brewers are addressing late-summer and looking to fall with a full slate of new beers you’re gonna want to chase down this weekend.

Festastic!  (St Louis, MO) – Oktoberfest is a brief moment of fall beer drinking beauty. The world’s biggest fest started in Munich, Germany in 1810 to celebrate the marriage of the crown prince of Bavaria to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen. And it became an annual party.

And now with Oktoberfest season approaching the Boston Beer Company has shipped something “festastic” that the brewery describes as being “true to tradition.” Available on draft, in 6-packs as well in the Samuel Adams Sweater Weather Variety Pack, Samuel Adams Oktoberfest is a 5.3% ABV Märzen Lager with a deep malt complexity, roasty sweetness and light hop character.

Cosmic (Portland, OR) – Ecliptic Brewing has joined forces with Seattle’s Holy Mountain Brewing and crafted Ecliptic’s fourth Cosmic Collaboration of 2022. Brewed with Pale and Pilsner malts and dry-hopped with Vista and BRU-1, Ecliptic + Holy Mountain Extra Juicy Pale Ale is a 6% ABV Hazy Pale Ale with bright stone fruit, melon and pear notes.

“Holy Mountain makes very unique, flavorful beers and is a favorite of many Ecliptic brewers, said Ecliptic’s Owner and Brewmaster, John Harris. “Colin at Holy Mountain and I talked about many different styles but settled on a very drinkable style for the summer. This extra juicy pale delivers.”

Serious Beer From The N/A Corner (Campbell, CA) – Non-Alcoholic beers have come a long way in the craft beer sector. And there’s a brewery in Northern California, Surreal Brewing, which even makes a very convincing Porter, not a style one normally associates with non-alcoholic beers. With only 50 calories, no sugar and minimal carbs, Surreal 17 Mile Porter is buzz-free dark ale with bold dark chocolate and coffee notes and earthy hop textures.
