Mikkeller To Open Pop-Up Pub In Portland (Oregon) – The internationally known Danish brewery Mikkeller is teaming with Portland restaurant group Chefstable to open a Mikkeller pop-up operation in Burnside Brewing’s recently closed space according to the Oregonian.
Mikkeller currently operates eight breweries around the world, including locations in New York City and San Diego. The company also oversees 35 additional Mikkeller outlets including bars in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Featuring at least 23 Mikkeller taps along with e a menu of Japanese noodles and rice dishes. Mikkeller’s pop-up bar and restaurant is expected to open by June 1st and operate through the end of the year. After that period the partners will evaluate things (including the availability of that building) and consider the feasibility of a permanent Mikkeller’s establishment in Portland.
