Summer is ON and American craft brewers are addressing things with exciting roster of new beers you’re gonna want to have around this weekend.

Band Aid (Asbury Park, NJ) – Asbury Park Brewery and award-winning band, The Gaslight Anthem have teamed up on a limited-edition beer that’s available now at the brewery taproom (until it’s not)

Named after one of The Gaslight Anthem’s favorite songs, Stay Lucky is 6.5% ABV Hazy IPA with dank  mango, tangerine, and citrus notes, minimal  bitterness and a creamy smooth mouthfeel. The collaboration will also give back to the music community, a portion of proceeds from sales of Stay Lucky will go to Red House Music & Rehearsal Studio, a music school located in New Jersey.

Dank Doings (Chico, CA) – Sierra Nevada Brewing has a new addition to its “Limited Hazy Series” that is exclusively available in its Hazy IPA Pack. Fueled on a smart menu of packed with sticky, resinous Mosaic, Amarillo, Chinook, and CTZ hops, Sierra Nevada Dank Little Thing is a floral 7.5% ABV Hazy IPA with big tropical notes and resinous flavors.

“This series of limited-edition Hazy IPAs is designed for the craft beer drinker that is always on the lookout for something fresh and new with a distinctive flavor profile,” says Kyle Ingram, Brand Director at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.

The first beer in the series, Juicy Little Thing, was released in January followed in late Spring by the second edition, Tropical Little Thing. Notably, Juicy Little Thing was so popular that the brewery recently re-released it as a year-round offering.

A Wild Ride (Boston, MA) – Samuel Adams has returned something a summertime favorite that was inspired by the classic Bavarian-style Radler. Basically Radlers are lagers mixed with fruit juices and its history is wild….

The term Radler originates with a drink called Radlermass (literally “cyclist liter”) which was originally created by an innkeeper. During the great cycling boom of the Roaring Twenties, the innkeeper created a bicycle trail from Munich, through the woods, which led directly to his drinking establishment. On a beautiful June day in 1922, a reported “13,000 cyclists” crashed his party and running out of beer, he blended it 50/50 with a lemon soda he could never seem to get rid of, and the rest is history.

Brewed to mimic a Radler, Samuel Adams Porch Rocker is a 4.5% ABV Helles Lager brewed with a blend of fresh lemons to create a crisp, refreshing and slightly tart finish.
