2023 is ON and American craft brewers are addressing the new year with exciting new beers you’re gonna want to have around.
A Little Hazy (Chico, CA) – Sierra Nevada Brewing is kicking off 2023 with an all-new limited-edition Hazy Series release which was designed to introduce a range of unique and fresh Hazy options for beer fans to explore throughout the year. The very first iteration in this promising series Sierra Nevada Juicy Little Thing is a 6.5% ABV juice-bomb that does not dissapoint. Crafted using a specialized yeast strain and Sterling, Citra, El Dorado, and Mosaic hops, this new limited release sports bright stone fruit, apricot, tropical fruit, and citrus notes that linger.
“What’s exciting about the Limited Hazy Series is that we’re selecting hazy IPA variants with interesting and unique flavor profiles and they’re each only available for a limited time,” said Kyle Ingram, Brand Director at Sierra Nevada Brewing. “Drinkers who love the hazy IPA beer style are definitely going to love what we’re doing because they’ll get to try something fresh and different each time we release anew beer in the series, which will happen about three times a year.”
Giving In To Temptation (Dallas, TX) – Lakewood Brewing is a family-owned, independent craft brewery making seriously fun beer just outside of Dallas… Lakewood exploded onto the DFW brewing scene in 2012 and became famous for its Temptress Imperial Milk Stout the best-selling stout in all of Texas. And they’ve a new Temptress variation which is outstanding. (especially if you like Nitros).
From its thick milk chocolate head to its rich complex body Lakewood Nitro Temptress is a 9.1% ABV Imperial Milk Stout with an even creamier mouthfeel than usual thanks to a smart infusion of nitrogen gas that enriches everything.
Get Dusted (Seattle, WA) – Way back in 2014, Elysian Brewing transitioned a popular release from their Manic IPA Series and made it available all year round. And as with many heritage releases that have been available for many years it’s sometimes unfairly gets overlooked. Elysian Space Dust IPA is an 8.2% ABV blast of Chinook, Citra, and Amarillo hops that’s well worth revisiting.
