2025 is ON and American craft brewers are celebrating things with a new roster of beers that you’re gonna want to have around.
The Beer That Inspired Liquid Sunshine (Waitsfield, VT) – Lawson’s Finest Liquids is celebrating 2025 with the first ever full market distribution of something very limited and very special.
The beer that inspired the Vermont brewer’s flagship brew, Sip of Sunshine IPA, which celebrates its 10 year anniversary in 2025, Lawson’s Double Sunshine is an 8% ABV American Double India Pale Ale with a lush fruit character and dank herbal aromas, thanks to a deft mix abundance of US grown hops.
“Not long after Lawson’s Finest Liquids got started, I discovered Citra hops and made an IPA featuring all Citra. It was juicy, fruity and luminous – like liquid sunshine. It was so delicious that I decided to make an imperial IPA and called it Double Sunshine,” said Sean Lawson, founding brewer of Lawson’s Finest Liquids “People drove from all over the Northeast to grab the original 22 oz bottles and it used to sell out in hours. In recent years, fans have requested more access to Double Sunshine. And what better time than now, in honor of Sip of Sunshine’s 10th anniversary?”
Double Sunshine, which has historically only been available at the Lawson’s Finest destination taproom and brewery in Waitsfield, Vt, is seeing a wider distribution for the first time ever. But it’s still a very limited release, so don’t wait on this one.
Shiner Beer Rides Into The N/A Arena (Shiner, TX) – Spoetzl Brewery, the independent, family-owned makers of the iconic Shiner Beer is addressing the growing non-alcoholic beer segment with a new offering that couldn’t be more convincing. Styled after a classic American Lager, Shiner Rode0 is a light and refreshing buzz-free refresher with crisp and malty notes that are perfectly balanced by delicate esters and a gentle hop profile.
Fans of Shiner have consistently requested non-alcoholic options to complement our more traditional beers,” says Tom Fiorenzi, Director of Brewery & Distillery Operations. “We’re proud to introduce this non-alcoholic beer to our fans. Brewed using the same method as our iconic Shiner beers, the Shiner Rode0 line is authentically Shiner, without the addition of alcohol.
