Since today is National IPA Day, we’ve an ALL-IPA selection of releases that you’ll want to celebrate the day with…

Brewed From Scratch (Hershey, PA) – Tröegs Independent Brewing has returned a popular limited release that evolved from its experimental small-batch Scratch Series. Mercilessly dry-hopped with Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado, Tröegs Field Study Summer IPA is a 6.2% ABV slightly hazy IPA with bright grapefruit, mango, pear and melon notes.

“Field Study began life as Scratch #327, when we first started tinkering with some new hopping techniques,” explains Tröegs brewmaster John Trogner. “We built on those experiments over the next few Scratch releases and landed on a grain bill featuring a backbone of Rustic Pale Malt.”

“Rustic Pale malt is kilned slightly higher than most pale malts to amplify the complex cereal and slightly nutty notes,” added Trogner.

Withstanding The Test Of Time (Waitsfield, VT) – Not many craft beers, that have been brewed for more than decade continue to command the kind of enthusiasm that they once did. But Lawson’s Finest Liquids has a cornerstone IPA that has stood the test of time and for good reason.

A beer that is actually brewed by Lawson’s Finest Liquids at Two Roads Brewing (another fine brewery) in Stratford, CT, Lawson’s Sip of Sunshine is an 8% ABV India Pale Ale packed with juicy tropical fruit notes, bright floral aromas and layers upon layers of hop flavor.

Currently experiencing double-digit growth because it’s just that delicious, Lawson’s decade-old lupulin-laden IPA is now available all across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, including Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island, North Carolina and Virginia, as well as Colorado.

Cutting Through The Noise – (Columbus, OH) – – BrewDog USA, the US arm of the Scotland-headquartered global craft brewer, has announced its newest flagship beer, an IPA that they think is a move “back to the basics” that “cuts through the noise.”

A bold tribute to the Chinook hop, beloved by BrewDog’s brewers, yet crafted for hop lovers everywhere BrewDog IPA is 6.3% ABV India Pale Ale that balances bright tropical and citrus notes with subtle pine and a clean, mellow bitterness.

Deschutes Nails The Non-Alc IPA (Bend, OR) – Deschutes Brewery has taken a bold step into non-alcohol brewing and introduced one of their classic beers as a buzz-free variation. Crafted entirely in-house utilizing Sustainable Beverage Technologies’ BrewVo® technology in combination with Deschutes’ proprietary brewing methods Fresh Squeezed Non-Alcoholic IPA is brilliantly balanced and features the same Citra and Mosaic hops as the original, delivering refreshing notes of bright citrus and tropical fruit, with less than 0.5% ABV.

“Crafting a full fidelity non-alcoholic beer that delivers the flavor, aroma and mouthfeel of a great craft beer involves a lot more than just removing the alcohol,” said Peter Skrbek, CEO of Deschutes Brewery. Our patented and proprietary process, rooted in decades of brewing experience, ensures that our non-alcoholic products offer an excellent craft beer experience without the alcohol.”
