AB InBev-owned Golden Road Brewing recently previewed their soon-to-open facility in Anaheim and it’s clear that the ‘once independent’ LA-based craft brewery has put Big Beer’s big bucks to good use.

Overseen by Victor Novak, a, Orange County beer geek with serious ‘beer cred,’ Golden Road’s sprawling new 40,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor operation, reportedly includes its own small-production facility, a cavernous indoor space with 40 rotating taps, with an additional 80 taps planned to support their outdoor bars (that’s right BARS!), when they open their beer garden next spring.

And If Golden Road’s new expansion into Anaheim’s increasingly vibrant beer scene, seems overly ambitious, it’s important to note that they’ve location/location/location.

Built on a 56,000-square-foot property within walking distance of the Angel Stadium, Golden Road’s new beer destination is almost ensured to attract a serious ‘walk-up,’ especially during baseball season. And it will also benefit from the nearby Honda center, home to the Disney Ducks hockey franchise and many a touring rock show.brewery, Golden Road Anaheim – The Best Brewery That AB InBev Money Can Buy

Freed from the original plans which called for a much larger production facility, Golden Road’s new Anaheim home (which is scheduled for a soft opening on Nov 18th) is built for scale, innovation and to showcase the brewery’s more experimental side, as well as their new barrel-aging program.
