This weekend’s collection of new beer offerings are sun and summer-ready…And we’re already well into a couple of them.
A Temptress Returns (Dallas, TX) – Lakewood Brewing has a whole lineup of Temptress Imperial Milk Stout variations. And they are returning one from their most popular…a beer that’s been on the bench for more than 18 months. Brewed with a reckless abundance of fresh Oregon raspberry puree, Lakewood Raspberry Temptress is a decadent 9.1% ABV Imperial Milk Stout with a subtle fruit acidity and a rich chocolate covered raspberry aroma.
Stormy Skies At Flying Fish (Somerdale, NJ) – Flying Fish Brewing, 10-time medal winners at the Great American Beer Festival, is releasing something sure to storm retail. Available in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland, Flying Fish Stormy Skies is a 7.3% ABV New England-Style IPA that’s smart drinking no matter the weather.
Heavy Seas Raises Red Flag (Baltimore, MD) – Heavy Seas Beer is raising the red flag with a new Uncharted Waters Series release that ships in June. Brewed in small batches at the brewery’s experimental 15 Barrel Brewhouse, Heavy Seas Red Flag is an 8% ABV Barrel-Aged Sour with complex fruit undertones and a bright tart finish.
Prickly Stuff (Boulder, CO) – Colorado’s first craft brewery, the Boulder Beer Company has a new May limited release that they call “dangerously playful.” Light bodied and effervescent with a rosy hue, Boulder Beer’s Perilous is a 5.1% ABV lightly tart Southwestern Wheat Ale boldly infused with the juice of the prickly pear cactus.
Juiced (Bloomington, IN) – Upland Brewing has a new limited release with the best name ever! Upland Juiced In Time is a 6.5% ABV New England-style IPA that’s absolutely dripping with ripe tropical fruit and bold juicy citrus flavors.
