Winter’s arrived and American craft brewers are addressing the nearing holiday season with more exciting offerings you’re gonna want have around.

Jack’s Back (Venice, CA) – One of Firestone Walker’s most legendary beers, which won a Gold medal in the GABF’s American-Style Black Ale category in 2020, is back. This time as a small batch limited release produced by its Propagator pilot brewhouse in Venice, California.

A unique twist on the Cascadian Dark Ale style, Firestone Walker Propagator Series Wookey Jack is award-winning 8.3% ABV Black Rye IPA that’s perfect at this time of year and worthy of revisiting. “Jack is back” as an uber-small batch run of 16-ounce cans in a four-pack format. Availability of this classic is limited to all Firestone Walker locations as well as online at FirestoneBeer.com, so you know what to do.

‘Tis The Season (Boonville, CA) – With the nights are getting longer and the temperatures cooler, Anderson Valley Brewing has returned its own unique take on the Winter Warmer style.  Boasting a deep amber hue and rich mouthfeel, Anderson Valley Winter Solstice is a 6.9% ABV Seasonal Ale with a deep amber hue, bright toffee, spice, and caramel tones, and a surprisingly creamy finish.

Welcome Sunshine (Waitsfield, VT) – Lawson’s Finest Liquids is giving craft beer fans across the Northeast another reason to celebrate this holiday season with the return  of the biggest beer in its Sunshine Series. Available for the first time outside of their Waitsfield, VT Taproom, Lawson’s Triple Sunshine is a 10.5% ABV India Pale Ale with the brewery’s signature hop-forward character and an even higher alcohol content.

Easy Does It (Richmond, CA) – East Brother Beer Co. is a San Francisco Bay area brewery which was founded by two friends and excels at brewing classic styles. And they’ve a malt-forward IPA that drinks even better as the temperatures drop. Dark amber in color, East Brother Red IPA is an easy-going 6.5% ABV American IPA with a spicy malt character and a pine hop finish that lingers.
