Bud Light’s “Backyard Tour” features four different bands in four different parts of the country and it will be interesting to see how these performances weather the polarizing Bud Light trans controversy, which has pitted the left against the right.

Here’s the deal…

Bud Light is continuing to feel a backlash that refuses to die following its partnership with Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender influencer whose image was put on a Bud Light beer can to celebrate “365 Days of Girlhood.”

, Anheuser-Busch Sponsors Free Band Tour Amid Bud Light Trans ControversyThe initial Dylan Mulvaney announcement took place on April 1 (ironically April Fool’s Day) and in spite of Anheuser-Busch’s desperate efforts to put the matter to bed the brand has been experiencing serious backlash ever since then.

But Anheuser-Busch, home to Bud Light, is keeping things positive with an intimate concert tour featuring popular country and rock bands playing in still-to-be-announced venues with capacities between 1,000 to 3,000.

And they are making those performances free to beer lovers across America who are lucky enough to win.

“This summer, Bud Light is building upon its ‘Easy to Drink, Easy to Enjoy’ platform by showing just how easy it is to enjoy the summer season,” said Todd Allen, Vice President of Marketing for Bud Light…

“We know summer concert experiences can sometimes be hard to enjoy between scoring coveted tickets and navigating large venues, which is why we are proud to introduce the Bud Light Backyard Tour, a summer tour that is easy to enjoy by bringing top artists and the best parts of the live music experience directly to local venues featuring intimate, backyard vibes across the country.”

Fans can catch their favorite artists, along with openers like Dee Jay Silver, Tyler Braden and Lindsay Ell, on the Bud Light Backyard Tour in the following cities.

– Nashville, TN – August 10: OneRepublic

– Oklahoma City, OK – August 15: Midland

– St. Louis, MO – August 17: Dashboard Confessional

– Charlottesville, VA – August 29: Bush

And while some may wonder if the ongoing Bud Light Trans backlash, (which has already led Kid Rock to gun down a bunch of Bud Light beer cans in a video that went viral), might impact the upcoming tour, country band Midlands remains steadfast…

“Summer, country music, beer, and good times. Why wouldn’t we be there?”
