In Boston, sports and beer go together almost as naturally as Fenway and summer nights. Now Samuel Adams is bringing those two passions even closer together with a new “Our City. Our Beer.” Variety Pack—a 12-pack inspired by some of the city’s most recognizable sports stars.

Created in collaboration with Derrick White of the Boston Celtics, Garrett Crochet of the Boston Red Sox, retired Julian Edelman of the New England Patriots, and former Zdeno Chára of the Boston Bruins, the pack features four beers designed to reflect the personalities—and seasons—of Boston’s biggest sports heroes.

The “Our City. Our Beer.” Variety Pack delivers a four-sport, four-season lineup in one box.

Each beer will also rotate on draft during its corresponding sports season, giving fans a chance to raise a glass to their favorite athletes at just the right time of year.

The pack includes four styles popular with New England craft drinkers: a wheat ale, an American pale ale, a lager, and a pilsner.

(Derrick) White Ale (5.3% ABV)
Style: Wheat Ale
Flavor: Bright citrus notes with a touch of spice and a smooth, complex finish
Malt: Samuel Adams two-row pale malt blend, malted wheat, flaked wheat
Special ingredients: Orange zest, lemon zest, coriander, rose hips, hibiscus, plum, grains of paradise, and anise

Crochet’s Pale Ale (5.8% ABV)
Style: American Pale Ale
Flavor: Zesty citrus hops with tropical aromas and a crisp finish

Julian Edel-Brau Lager (6.2% ABV)

The new variety pack is the latest example of Samuel Adams’ long-running connection to New England sports culture. Over the years, the brewery has leaned heavily into its identity as “Boston’s Beer,” partnering with teams like the Boston Red Sox and events such as the Boston Marathon, while occasionally releasing limited-edition brews tied to local sports legends.
