The Winter Holidays are ON and American craft brewers are addressing things with an exciting roster of new beers you’re gonna want to have around as things get increasingly festive.

Milk Mustache (Ipswich, MA) – Just when you thought they’d  lay back and play it safe going into the holidays the True North Ale Company has released one of its best beers of the year.

Brewed with a selection of light and dark malts and oats, then finished with lactose sugar for elevated sweetness, True North Milk Mustache Coffee Milk Stout is a 6.4% ABV Stout brewed with lactose and locally sourced cold brew coffee, brimming with sweet espresso, toffee, and chocolate notes.

A limited-time release, Milk Mustache  is currently available at retail and on tap in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, as well as in the True North Ale Company taproom.

Reinheitsgebot Done Right (Munich, Germany) – Hofbräu München, a benchmark of centuries-old brewing tradition, has announced the US debut of its celebrated Hofbräuhaus Helles Lager. The iconic brew is now available in uber-unique 16.9 oz cans (“or as the Germans say, 0.5 Liter Dosen”) featuring a retro design inspired by the brewery’s labels from the 1950s

Brewed in Munich and according to the Reinheitsgebot Purity Law of 1516, Hofbräuhaus Helles Lager is a golden hued 5.1% ABV Lager with a balanced profile, a subtle hoppiness, and a gentle acidity.

The name pays tribute to the brewery’s Munich origins, while the retro-style cans honor the era when Helles Lager became synonymous with the city’s beer culture. The design features one of Munich’s oldest registered trademarks, dating back to 1879.

Back To The Basics – (Columbus, OH) – BrewDog USA, the US arm of the Scotland-headquartered global craft brewer, has announced its newest flagship beer, an IPA that they think is a move “back to the basics” that “cuts through the noise.” A bold tribute to the Chinook hop, beloved by BrewDog’s brewers, yet crafted for hop lovers everywhere BrewDog IPA is 6.3% ABV India Pale Ale that balances bright tropical and citrus notes with subtle pine and a clean, mellow bitterness.

“This is our first major IPA launch since Elvis Juice and Hazy Jane, and we’ve poured our passion for hops into every can,” shares Eric Franco, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for BrewDog USA. “With BrewDog IPA, we’re inviting drinkers to experience the spirit of IPA in a way that’s bold, balanced, and distinctly BrewDog.”
