The seasons are changing and craft brewers are keeping things fun with exotic new beers you’re gonna want to chase down.
Get Crushed (Milton, DE) – Dogfish Head Craft Brewery has just released the second beer in it’s of its annual Off-Centered Art Series and this beer is inspired by a popular mid-Atlantic cocktail.
Featuring artwork by Max Mahn, a well-known printmaker and illustrator from Missoula, Montana, Dogfish Head Mandarin & Mango Crush is a 6% ABV beer-centric reimagining of the beloved coastal “Crush” cocktail, which is a simple combination of spirits and freshly-pressed juice obtained by ‘crushing the fruit with a hand-powered press.
“With roots deep in coastal Delaware, the Crush cocktail has been one of my go-to summer sippers for quite some time, said Sam Calagione, Dogfish Head Founder & Brewer. “This beer is so refreshing, unique and sessionable, it might be my favorite seasonal Art Series beer we have ever made.”
Sour Me Please (Baltimore, MD) – DuClaw Brewing has an interesting new release that takes the cocktail beer concept in a tarter direction. Infused with pure lime purée and zesty ginger, DuClaw Sour Me Dark ‘N Stormy is a 5.5% ABV rum wood-aged Sour Ale that was inspired by the iconic dark rum and ginger beer cocktail.
New From The N/A Corner (California) – Non-Alcoholic beers have come a long way’s since your uncle used to order an O’Doul’s. And there’s a Northern California brewery, Best Day Brewing, which makes a great Kölsch that just happens to be non-alcoholic. Brewed using a smart combination of Cologne and Pilsner malts and Hallertau Traditional hops, Best Day Kölsch is a crisp and perfectly balanced refresher that won’t leave you buzzed.
