The Festival 2019 Comes To Western New York (Buffalo, NY) – One of the nation’s best international drinking events is coming to Buffalo, NY this weekend and there’s really nothing like it anywhere. Presented by the legendary importers Shelton Brothers, The Festival 2019 is two days (Oct 4-5) of serious drinking featuring the world’s greatest (and in many cases rarest) artisan beers, ciders and meads, plus special releases that were crafted specifically for the event!
On The Big Screen – This weekend big movie opening is the origin story of one of Batman’s most legendary villains. Directed by Todd Phillips Joker stars Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, a man struggling to find his way through Gotham’s fractured society, who ignored and beaten down, eventually becomes Batman’s iconic arch nemesis.
TV Time & Streaming – Amazon Prime tends to pale when it comes to the creativity of other video platforms like Netflix or HBO. But we just finished an 8 episode animated series on the streamer that’s as good as anything out there. Undone is a half-hour, genre-bending, dramedy that explores the elastic nature of reality through its central character, Alma, (Rosa Salazar) a twenty-eight-year-old living in San Antonio.
After surviving a car accident, Alma finds she has a new relationship to time which allows her to travel into the past where she learns the truth about her father’s death. Better Call Saul/Breaking Bad’s Bob Odenkirk plays Alma’s ghostly father. And even though he’s animated he’s awesome.

We’ll be spending the weekend with a HUGE special release from Seedstock Brewery that pairs well with touchdowns and fall campfires. Deliciously smooth and ruby red colored, Seedstock Barrel-Aged Doppelbock is a 10.1% ABV limited release that the brewery crafted with Propagate Lab and Laws Whiskey House.
