2020 is ON …and you’re ready for the fun. Well good, because from the nation’s coolest beer events, to movies, music and cutting edge TV – we’ve got you covered.  Plus we’ve another weekend beer pick for you, because we know you’ll be drinking.

Bockfest Returns To Cincy (Cincinnati, OH) – Now in its 28th year, Bockfest 2020 returns to Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood and its brewery districts this weekend and it’s ALWAYS a spectacular couple of days…

In the 1800s, Cincinnati was one of America’s most prolific brewing cities. Cincinnatians drank more beer per capita than any city in the country (2 1/2 times the national average), and Over-the-Rhine was the epicenter of beer production and consumption. And in 2020 it is ground zero for a weekend of endless entertainment, artisan food, and of course, plenty of BOCK BEER

This three-day celebration (February 28 – March 1) is the largest (and oldest) event of its kind – and it all kicks off Friday with an insane goat-led parade through the city along with the reigning Sausage Queen that ends up at Bockfest Hall where the ceremonial first keg is blessed.

Saturday morning starts off with the Bockfest 5K, then you can tap into the Bock Beer Blowout featuring local bock beer tastings with over 18 bocks on draft, homebrew competitions, historic brewery walking tours, Bockfeast Pig Roast, and fun beer games pitting local breweries vying for the coveted Brewers Cup.

, Weekend Picks: Bockfest 2020, The Invisible Man And Firestone Walker Luponic DistortionOn The Big Screen – This weekend’s big movie opening is a contemporary adaptation of a science fiction novel by H. G. Wells… The Invisible Man stars Elizabeth Moss as a woman who is being haunted by her abusive partner (a brilliant scientist of course) who the police think has committed suicide, but she suspects has made himself invisible. Joe Morgenstern at the Wall Street Journal calls this rebooted horror classic “ingenious, frequently scary, and a Grand Guignol tour de force for Ms. Moss.”

THE ACB WEEKEND BEER PICK

This weekend we’ll be tapping into the 15th release from Firestone Walker’s ever-evolving Luponic Distortion Series, a 5.6% ABV India Pale Ale fueled on emerging hops from New Zealand that were personally sourced by Brewmaster Matt Brynildson during the Southern Hemisphere hop harvest.
