October is ON and craft brewers are addressing fall’s arrival with exciting new offerings you’re gonna want to chase down this weekend.

100% Pure Michigan (Elk Rapids, MI) – Short’s Brewing has once again teamed up with Pure Michigan, the state’s tourism and travel bureau, to celebrate fall with a beer that’s crafted to showcase the Great Lake State’s agricultural bounty and Michigan’s vibrant craft beer industry.

Made entirely with ingredients grown on Michigan farms. Shorts Pure Michigan IPA is a 5.6% ABV India Pale Ale with balanced hop bitterness and malty, fruited sweetness.

“This beer was designed to celebrate the craft beer industry and suppliers in Michigan,” said Joe Short, founder of Short’s Brewing Company…. We hope this beer captures what fall feels like in Michigan.”

A Chance Of Rain (Portland, OR) – Von Ebert Brewing has a new beer/wine hybrid that straddles both worlds smartly. Von Ebert Rain Shadows is an effervescent 8.4% ABV oak-aged mixed culture beer fermented with whole-cluster Syrah grapes.

Drink The Dragon (New Holland, MI) – Over the ages, the term Dragon’s Milk has been used to describe potent ales and elixirs worthy of celebration. And New Holland Brewing makes a year-round “elixir” worth celebrating. A deft marriage roasted malt and aging, Dragon’s Milk is an 11% ABV Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout with sweet undertones of vanilla and oak and a resinous richness that lingers.

Downloaded From A Cloud (San Diego, CA) – AleSmith Brewing has a new addition to its year-round portfolio that taps into the nation’s reining sub-style, the Hazy/Juicy/New England IPA. So rich in hazy content that it had to be “downloaded from the cloud” AleSmith Cloud Stream Hazy IPA is a 6.9% ABV full-bodied India Pale Ale with dazzling red currant, passionfruit and mango notes, and a creamy mouthfeel.
