A South Florida condo with rooms covered floor to ceiling with actual Budweiser recently sold and we’re not sure what that says about this country…
Estate agent Kristen Kearney told realtor.com that the deceased owner of 815-square-foot condo in the Lake Worth area of Florida was a life-long Budweiser fan (Yah think?).
Before visiting the property Kearney had been warned about its unusual décor. But when she first walked through the Condo’s unassuming front door, she was shocked by the realization that almost all its rooms were covered in actual beer cans, including the ceilings and the master closet.
As Kearney explained to the South Florida Sentinel, it had been the owner’s “life mission” to wallpaper his property in Budweiser cans.
The two-bedroom property, which also houses a collection of sports memorabilia that seems somewhat overpowered by the overall ‘brewcor,’ is plastered with beer cans in every room, with the exception of the two bathrooms. (What no shower beers?)
“If you look closely at the photos, you can really see the lengths the owner went to,” Kearney told the Sentinel “He even created a crown molding look with the cans.”
And speaking to an uber-hot South Florida real estate market, or perhaps Budweiser’s appeal, the Bud condo received multiple offers and sold in early September.
So obviously this Bud’s for someone…
According to Kearney its new owners made an offer without even seeing the property in person.
But whether or not they’ll keep the Budweiser decor is unknown.
