Craft beer and cuisine pairings are all the rage nowadays and are celebrated widely... cookie and craft beer pairings...not so much. But for the last two years Frederick, Maryland-based Flying Dog Brewery has been championing the nascent "craft beer and cookie" movement (yep, it's a movement now) - and the winter holidays are the perfect time to do it.

We blame the industry for this... It used to be that when we wrapped up our Weekend Picks on Friday, we could coast through the weekend. There was little need to check in for updates - things were pretty much done. But clearly all that's changed.
