, THE AMERICAN CRAFT BEER EASTER WEEKEND PICKSWe Want The Funk! (Portland, OR) – You’ll be hard pressed to find a town as crazy about Saisons, Flemish, Biere de Garde, Brett and fruited beers as you do in Portland today. So it only makes sense that Saturday and Sunday in PDX will feature one of the best collections of farmhouse styles anywhere. The 4th Annual Portland Farmhouse & Wild Ale Festival is going down at Saraveza this weekend and you shouldn’t miss it. There will be over 70 beers available including offerings from The Ale Apothecary, Block 15, Breakside, The Bruery, de Garde, Jester King, Perennial and many more. On The Big Screen – Superman faces off against the dark knight this weekend when Zach Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens nationally. Henry Cavill reprises his role as the Man of Steel, while Ben Affleck dons the cape for the first time as an aging and discouraged Batman. Jesse Eisenberg is the new Lex Luther in this superhero showdown and Wonder Woman even makes an appearance.

, THE AMERICAN CRAFT BEER EASTER WEEKEND PICKSSpring Seasonal Tasting In The Big Apple (New York, NY) – The 5th annual NYC Craft Beer Festival returns to the Lexington Armory in Manhattan, this weekend, and it promises to be a blast. This year’s two-day (March 25th-26th) three session event, will feature over 150 craft beers, artisan meads and ciders from some of the region’s most exciting new breweries – so you don’t want to miss it.

TV Time – HBO takes on the music industry in Vinyl and returns us to a 1970’s New York awash in sex, drugs and rock n’ roll. Produced by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger, this period drama stars Bobby Cannavale as Richie Finestra, as a coke-addled music executive at American Century Records, desperately trying to navigate a rapidly changing musical landscape, as the disco era gives way to a punk revolution.
