At long last, the wait is over. Coming to Esquire Network this summer will be America's only craft beer show on TV: Brewdogs. NBC/Universal, which has been rebranding the former G4 Gaming Network into a men's channel, will begin airing the 6 hour-long episodes late this summer.
We blame the industry for this... It used to be that when we wrapped up our Weekend Picks on Friday, we could coast through the weekend. There was little need to check in for updates - things were pretty much done. But clearly all that's changed. So here's some of what's happened in the world of craft beer while you were enjoying your long Memorial Day weekend.
As many of you already know, the Craft Brewers Conference is taking place this week (March 26th-29th), in Washington, DC. For those of you who will be attending, you know what an exciting week this promises to be. But in addition to the conference itself, there will be tons of craft beer events taking place all over the city, many of them opportunities to hang out with some of craft beer's biggest names and most of them open to the public!
American Craft Beer will be working overtime to keep you updated daily on all the craft beer events that will be happening throughout the city ....So fasten your seatbelts everybody because this year's CBC is on!

Craft beer as we know it today has been an evolution. Back in the day, brewing was just a hobby - friends enjoying themselves and experimenting with age-old traditions. But what began in places like the garages of Chico, caught fire in a way that no one saw coming and a great new American tradition was born.
2012 Atlanta Beer Week kicked off with the Decatur Beer Festival and this year was a festival to beat all. Not only did ACB get to attend some pre-beer week events, such as the Brewers' Ball at Sweetwater Brewing and the Brewers' Brunch at The Square Pub, but we got our fill of great beer and some newcomers to the Atlanta Market and Decatur Festival that we really enjoyed.
