So many beers- So little time… Spring is fast giving way to summer and we’ve all the right beers for this season! Plus we’ve some interesting new “exotics” from Ska and Jester King that you’ll want to get your sweaty little hands on
Drink This Now! (Boston, MA) – Samuel Adams has a new Rebel Series release, that’s brewed to fresh. Aggressively hopped, using seven different varieties, and brewed for a shelf life of only 35 days, Samuel Adams Rebel Raw Double IPA is 10% ABV India Pale Ale and a very, very limited release.
Young Meet Old (Austin, TX) – Jester King has a Hibernal that’s a blend of old and young beer. The young, fresh beer is a Farmhouse/Wild Ale brewed with dried Genmaicha tea, and winter rosemary. The old beer is from the brewery’s stock of Funk Metal, a sour barrel aged stout. Partially barrel-aged and brewed for the ages, Jester King Hibernal Dichotomous 2016 is available now, but it won’t be forever, so you know what to do.
Taking Heat (Frederick, MD) – Flying Dog has new Heat Series release that more than live up to its name. Brewed using dried Poblano peppers from Mexico, Flying Dog’s Ancho Lime Paradise Lager is a 6% ode to drinking “south of the border.”
“As Gose Reuben’s Brews – So Gose The Nation” (Seattle, WA) – Reuben’s Brews is now canning one of their most beloved beers for year-round distribution. Reuben’s Brews Gose is their award-winning 4.3% German Sour Ale that’s brewed with lactobacillus, salt and coriander for a crisp and welcome finish.
Getting Creamed (Durango, CO) – With the getting warmer we like our stouts a little lighter and more sessionable and Ska Brewing has a year-round that more than fits the bill. Ska Steel Toe Milk Stout is a 5.5% refresher, with a rich tan head and sweet creamy mouthfeel.
