In 2018 BrewDog introduced Subwoofer, what may have been the brewing industry’s first dog beer ever…Maybe that beer inspired Busch to jump on the doggy beer bandwagon.
But doggone it, this new dog-friendly beer got our attention.
When Busch first introduced Dog Brew in 2020 it was made with pork, but to keep things interesting, (we think your dog will agree), this year’s limited edition release is made with turkey.
Turkey Broth Busch Dog Brew is an all-natural product and contains only fresh ingredients. It’s billed as “a nutritious and tasty snack for your four-legged friend that helps to promote a healthy digestive system.” And thanks to a contest Busch ran in March it also features Kira, a rescue dog from Perham MN on the can.
What it doesn’t contain is hops and alcohol, which is a good thing because hops and alcohol are like poison for dogs…and that would not be a good thing.
“Our fans’ reaction to Busch Dog Brew’s release in 2020 inspired us to keep the momentum going and release our newest flavor for pups to enjoy just in time for the holidays,” explained Krystyn Stowe, head of marketing for Busch Family Brands at Anheuser-Busch

Suuure, if that’s what you’re into! We here at Busch do not judge. BUT this bone broth is made for a dog’s refined palate. You may find it pretty bland & yes, we’ve tried it a few times. Part of the job.
HOW DO YOU RECOMMEND I SERVE THIS PRODUCT?
Pour our Busch Dog Brew into your dog’s bowl by itself or over food. Can be served cold or room temperature (some dogs don’t like cold items).
HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE MY DOG?
It depends on the weight of your dog but it is NOT harmful to consume the entire can of Busch Dog Brew in one sitting. For smaller dogs: Busch Dog Brew will last for 5 days after opened in the fridge so that the snack can last longer. IT IS NOT A MEAL REPLACEMENT. Feed your dogs, they love food just as much as you.

Two years ago, the original Dog Brew sold out in 24 hours, according to Busch. But according to Anheuser-Busch, who produce the brand, this year’s turkey-flavored Busch Dog Brew, four-packs should hopefully be around a bit longer.
We just checked and Busch Dog Brew is currently available on Anheuser-Busch’s Shop Beer Gear website at $15 for four 12-ounce cans. So you know what to doggone it!
