Talk about an offer you can’t refuse…And not surprisingly Golden Road’s dog friendly promotion starts on National Dog Day.

Here’s the deal

August 26, is National Dog Day (yep it’s a thing) and Los Angeles, Ca-based Golden Road Brewing is celebrating it with a new beer, Hazy Puppy IPA, which will be delivered to your door by adoptable dogs from Wags & Walks.

Wags & Walks is one of the most rapidly growing dog rescue organizations in LA. Its founder, Lesley Brog, started the not-for-profit in her garage back in 2011 rescuing one pup at a time.

Seven years later, Wags and Walks has rescued more than 5,500 shelter dogs in danger of being killed in LA’s overcrowded shelters. And Golden Road has a long term relationship with them, having partnered with the rescue group on past events including Golden Road’s Made in LA music festival and 5k charity runs.

Deliveries can be booked on National Dog Day – Aug. 26 – and Aug. 27-29, according to the brewery. For $50, you get two six-packs of Golden Road Brewing’s new session IPA, as well as some brewery swag, and 20 minutes of doggy playtime with two or three puppies or dogs.

And the beer that the adoptable pups will be delivering sounds promising as well. Golden Road Hazy Pup IPA is a 4% ABV India Pale Ale with only 105 calories that according to the brewery delivers he mouthfeel and body of a full IPA. And it’s available now throughout retail stores in California, as well as in select cities across Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Hawaii., Golden Road Brewing Offers Adoptable Dog Beer Delivery

Safety remains a priority for Golden Road and their partner Wags and Walks. Face coverings are mandatory and participants asked to follow social distancing etiquette and use hand sanitizer before and after the dog (and beer) visit.

And yes, all of the proceeds from that $50 sale are going back to Wags and Walks but unfortunately the dog delivery/beer service will only be available in parts of Los Angeles.
