This weekend’s collection of new beer offerings are hefty and seasonal (not that there’s anything wrong with that)…So welcome to our first Beer Run of December…Get ready to toast winter’s coming.

Redhook’s Winter Seasonal Returns Anew (Seattle, WA) – Every year Redhook Brewing puts a different twist on its popular winter seasonal and this year is no different. Released annually since 1984,  Winterhook 2018 is a 6% ABV Hoppy Dark Lager that was brewed using brown ale malt and a European Bock yeast profile.

Malted Milk Ball (Comstock Park, MI) – Just in time for the holidays, Perrin Brewing is returning its Barrel-Aged Specialty Pack with designer glassware and these two barrel aged exotics…

Perrin Reserve, Chocolate Stout is a 12.8% ABV triple mashed Russian Imperial Stout aged on golden raisins in Brandy barrels.

Perrin Malted Milk Ball is a 12.8% ABV Imperial Porter brewed with lactose, vanilla and cacao nibs and aged for 9 months in Oak Bourbon Barrels.

Hugely Hoppy (St Louis, MO) –Missouri’s largest locally-owned, independent craft brewery, Schlafly Beer is returning a hugely popular Hop Allocation Series release in special 4-Packs of 16oz cans. Robustly hoppy and yet incredibly drinkable, Schlafly Tasmanian IPA is a 7.2% ABV India Pale Ale that was named as one of Food & Wine’s Best IPAs in America.

The Christmas Cookie Of Beers (Boston, MA) –  The Boston Beer Company is returning a beer that’s been called the “Christmas cookie of beers” by Sam Adams brewers. Exclusive to the Samuel Adams Winter Classics Variety Pack, Samuel Adams Old Fezziwig Ale  is a full-bodied and complex 5.9% ABV spiced Brown Ale that’s brewed with a specially curated blend of cinnamon, ginger and orange peel.
