Sam’s Summer Ale Gets Re Reformulated (Boston, MA) – The brewers at Samuel Adams have announced their first recipe change in twenty-three years. Amping things up with additions of pureed oranges, limes and lemons to its classic profile, Samuel Adams Summer Ale is a 5.3% ABV citrusy Wheat Ale that’s a lighter and brighter take on the Boston Beer classic.
Need Proof? (Tallahassee, FL) – Proof Brewing has a new addition to its year-round portfolio that does Munich proud. A love letter to the classic German brewing tradition, Proof Lager is a 5% ABV crisp and clean refresher with a light, malty sweetness and just a hint of German noble hop aroma.
Taking A wild Leap Forward (LaGrange, GA) – Over the last two years, Wild Leap Brewing has introduced a number of limited-release stouts, porters and IPAs, but they’ve yet to craft something in the sour realm until now. Completely unlike anything Wild Leap has brewed to date, Vacanza Raspberry Gose is a 5.5% ABV Gose-style Ale that is brewed with over 500 pounds of fresh raspberries per batch.
Hot Bot (Washington, DC) – Atlas Brew Works has partnered with Awesome Con on a special limited release that celebrates a the popular event which returns to DC on April 26th. A Monster Mash (Holland, MI) – New Holland Brewing will soon be returning a barrel-aged beast that’s not been available since 2017. Aged for one year in New Holland Spirits oak bourbon barrels, Dragon’s Milk Triple Mash clocks in at an unapologetic 17% ABV, so be sure to fasten your seat belt.
