Summer is ON and American craft brewers are addressing the season with intriguing new offerings you’re gonna want to have around.

A Bright Idea (Mineapolis, MN / Milwaukee, WI) – Indeed Brewing has a bright new summer release that we can’t wait to get our hands on. Built on a solid base of Amarillo hops, sea salt, orange blossom honey, orange and lime peel, Indeed Brightside Sea Salt and Lemon Lager is a 5.2% ABV summertime pleaser with a bright, refreshing mouthfeel that lingers.

This beer came out of a partnership with a badass seafood restaurant in Minneapolis (shout-out to Smack Shack!),” said Ryan Bandy, Indeed Brewing Company’s Director of Experience. “The ocean salt was an inspiration—how it stays with you in your hair, on your lips, on your skin. When we were doing R&D for Brightside, we were shocked at how good salt was in the lager. It makes sense in hindsight—salt acts as a magnifying glass, intensifying flavors.”

A Passion Play (Longmont, CO) – Left Hand Brewing, one of the original pioneers in craft brewing, has a new addition to its year-round portfolio that’s as unlikely as it’s welcome.
