March is ON and American craft brewers are addressing things with an intriguing roster of new beers you’re gonna want to have around for your St Patrick’s Day drinking and beyond.

, Beer Alert: New Coconut Porters And Cherry AlesLeinenkugel’s Celebrates Women’s History Month (Chippewa Falls, WI) – March is Women’s History Month and Leinenkugel’s Beer is marking things with a beer inspired by an incredible woman in the Leinenkugel’s family.

Having shifted to creating sodas and tonics during prohibition, when alcohol was re-legalized in 1933, Leinenkugel’s was not equipped (physically or financially) to make beer again. But Rose Leinenkugel (the daughter of the founder Jacob Leinenkugel) took on huge risk of reestablishing the brewery and the rest is history.

Leinenkugel Lakeside Cherry is a 4.4% ABV fruit-forward take on a classic German Gose-style inspired by Rose, who mortgaged her family home to save the business and restore Leinenkugel’s to its pre-Prohibition glory. The use of cherries creates a rose-colored liquid toast to Rose and all pioneering, resilient women like her.

Twice As Nice (Paso Robles, CA) – Firestone Walker Brewing has a bold new addition to its growing family of Mind Haze IPA variations and this one takes haziness into a whole new dimension. Dry hopped twice,  Mind Haze Brain Melter is an 8.5% ABV Imperial Hazy IPA, with double the normal amount of hops, and layers of textures and flavors. The secret to Brain Melter is its blend of hops focused on Vic Secret, Strata and Citra.

“Mind Haze is one of our most celebrated beers and has become a playground where we explore our wildest ideas on where IPAs can go, allowing us to deliver world-class beers that meet the diverse taste buds of today’s drinkers,” said Brewmaster Matt Brynildson. “Brain Melter is a beer that doubles down on everything we love about Mind Haze–mouthwatering tropical flavors with a bit more octane to give it an extra punch.”

Bravus Goes Coconuts (Anaheim, CA) -Since its inception in 2015, Bravus Brewing, North America’s first non-alcoholic craft brewery has never stopped innovating. Founded by software engineer-turned-brewer Philip Brandes, Bravus was born when Brandes sought to solve a craft beer-loving friend’s dilemma of how to maintain his new sobriety without having to give up his favorite beverage. And with St Patrick’s Day coming they’ve the right beer to celebrate with, that won’t muddy your head.

, Beer Alert: New Coconut Porters And Cherry AlesCrafted using a ton of toasted coconut, Bravus Coconut Porter  is a buzz-free take on Maui Brewing’s famous Coconut Hiwa beer with hints dark malt, chocolate, and vanilla.  And If you’re looking to steer clear of alcohol on St Patrick’s Day, this beer is a perfect option.
