June is ON and American craft brewers are addressing things with a full slate of new beers you’re gonna want to chase down.

Easy Does It (San Francisco, CA) – Anchor Brewing recently dropped a new addition to its year-round portfolio that’s the end result of years of research and development. Crafted with a bright menu of Nugget, Strata and Sultana hops and natural peach puree, Anchor Easy Weekend IPA is a 3.7% ABV Hazy India Pale Ale  that’s juicy, fresh and only has 99 calories.

“Anchor Brewing has long experimented with Hazy IPAs and fruit as an ingredient,” said Assistant Brewmaster Dane Volek, who leads Anchor’s innovation team.  “It was exciting for us to go through this process of creating a flavor forward lower calorie and ABV version of a beer style that is so beloved by craft beer drinkers. Easy Weekend is incredibly refreshing, packed with flavor, and ideal for days when you’re craving a lighter beer that won’t weigh you down.”

A taproom favorite, that’s currently available in cans, Schlafly Keller Pils is a 4.5% ABV take on the Bohemian / Czech Lager with a bready malt flavor and floral hop bite. Kellerbier literally translates as “cellar beer”, referring to its cool lagering temperatures. Its recipe probably dates to the Middle Ages.

A Classic (White Plains, NY) – We only cover imported beers that we think can hold their own up against America’s best craft beers, and Paulaner USA imports an iconic Wheat Beer that many consider a masterpiece. The #1 wheat beer in Germany for good reason, Paulaner Hefe-Weizen is a 5.5% ABV Witbier that, we promise you, will not disappoint.

In developing this beer, the Paulaner brewmasters have perfected a unique technique with “yeast suspension,” resulting in a uniform, slightly cloudy appearance, consistent quality, and perfect taste.
