Hey it’s May.  And American craft brewers are addressing things with a full slate of new beers you’re gonna want to chase down.

Perfectly Timed And Limed (Waitsfield, Vermont) – To celebrate the warmer weather Lawson’s Finest Liquids is returning a special limited release that was named in honor of Waitsfield, Vermont’s town water source, an aquifer located beneath Scrag Mountain.

Scrag Mountain Pils Salt & Lime is a bright4.8% ABV refresher that melds the crisp refreshing qualities of a Czech pilsner with sea salt, fresh lime peel and lime juice. Affectionately nicknamed “Scragarita,” the pilsner is available in four packs (16 oz. cans) until the end of July.

“Scrag Mountain Pils Salt & Lime is always a sign of summer, and we’re thrilled to bring it back to distribution,” said Sean Lawson, CEO and founding brewer of Lawson’s Finest Liquids. “We’re excited for our fans to enjoy a Scragaritato beat the summer heat.”

“Anchor Brewing has long experimented with Hazy IPAs and fruit as an ingredient. It was exciting for us to go through this process of creating a flavor forward lower calorie and ABV version of a beer style that is so beloved by craft beer drinkers,” says Assistant Brewmaster Dane Volek, who leads Anchor’s innovation team. ‘Easy Weekend is incredibly refreshing, packed with flavor, and ideal for days when you’re craving a lighter beer that won’t weigh you down.”
