Summer is ON and American craft brewers are addressing things with an ever-evolving roster of new beers you’ll want to chase down.

Pure Project Enters the NA Arena  (San Diego, CA) – Pure Project, a small-batch craft brewery with five taprooms in Southern  California is extending its ingredient-focused brewing philosophy into the non-alcoholic beer space with two new releases.

Grounded NA IPA showcases two expressive Pacific Northwest hop varieties, Citra and Mosaic, resulting in a bold, aromatic brew that delivers notes of bright lemongrass, citrus, and resin, followed by a crisp, slightly bitter finish. Sunsip NA Blonde Ale moves more delicately across the palate, offering flavors of freshly baked bread and jasmine, rounded out by a subtle whole wheat character and a hint of zesty lemon peel.

“We’ve been eager to share our brewing ethos with the world of NA beer, and we’ve been able to achieve that goal while embracing the quality and standards that are at the core of our craft,” said Pure Project Co-founder and Brewer, Winslow Sawyer. “With these releases, we’re excited to give people more options to support beer for good, even when they are looking for a non-alcoholic beverage.”

Both of Pure Project’s non-alcoholic beers are below 0.5% ABV and are now available year-round at all five brewery taprooms in San Diego County, as well as at select retailers.

A Welcome Return (Kansas City, MO) – Boulevard Brewing has returned a classic after more than a decade on hiatus. Inspired by ultra-creaminess that have long defined the nitro-infused style Boulevard’s Nitro Dry Stout is a 4.9% ABV Irish Dry Stout with roasty malt aromatics,  dark chocolate and espresso notes, a crisp, dry finish and subtle bitterness at the backend..

We’ve recently seen a surge in popularity and demand for Irish-style dry stouts, and luckily, we had a familiar recipe sitting in our archives. Nitro Dry Stout is a legacy favorite that long-time fans of the brewery will remember well,” said Boulevard’s brand manager, Adam Hall. “Each sip offers an honest, heartfelt experience brewed with patience, purpose and deep respect for the style that inspired it.”

Boulevard Dry Stout was first produced in 1996, but its return comes a new packaging option: 16-ounce Nitro cans, thanks to updated  packaging technology. And we couldn’t be more excited that’s it’s now a year-round offering.

A Chinese Classic (Qingdao, China) – Tsingtao Brewery, which was founded in 1903 as an Anglo-German business and now the sixth-largest brewery in the world, has an iconic lager that has stood the test of time

Distributed in the states by Paulaner USA and brewed using domestic hops and pure spring water from the Laoshan mountain region in China, Tsingtao Premium Lager is an award-winning 4.7% ABV Pale Lager with a subtle nutty sweetness, Bavaria instincts and a rich Chinese heritage. Introduced to the United States in 1972, it has remained the top-selling Chinese beer in the US. market and is exported to over 100 countries and regions worldwide.
