Beer Alert: New Winter Saisons And Holiday Seasonals

Winter’s arrived and American craft brewers are addressing the holiday season with more exciting offerings you’re gonna want have around.
Spellbinding (Denver, C0) – River North Brewery’s Decennial Series is known for the complex and robust beer styles that make up this unique line of aged and non-barrel-aged beers. And they’ve a new addition. Brimming with which bittersweet chocolate aromas and flavors (which is kinda amazing because this beer uses no cocoa whatsoever) River North The Dark Sorceress is a MASSIVE 15.2% ABV Imperial Porter with warming toffee, caramel, spice and dark fruit notes.
Surprisingly approachable given it high alcohol count and not super-sweet, this spellbinding Imperial Porter can be aged for up to one decade, assuming you have the discipline (we don’t) to wait.

Islands In The Stream (Portland, OR) – Von Ebert Brewing, winner of the 2021 Oregon Beer Awards’ Medium Size Brewery of the Year, and Breakside Brewery, winner of the 2021 Oregon Beer Awards’ Large Brewery of the Year, are releasing a new collaboration that commemorates the wedding anniversary of two of their brewers, Maddy who brews for Von Ebert and Matt who brews at Breakside.
To celebrate their 10th Anniversary the couple crafted Islands in the Stream, a 5.4% ABV can-conditioned Saison named after the Dolly Parton / Kenny Rogers hit from the 80s that was in heavy rotation at their wedding.
Bodacious! (Richmond, CA) – East Brother Beer Co. is a San Francisco Bay area brewery that excels at brewing classic styles. And they’ve a traditional lager that absolutely nails it. Crafted using a deft medley of Styrian, Aurora and Tettnanger hops, East Brother Bo Pils is a 5% ABV Bohemian-Style Pilsner with an uber-clean finish and mild hoppiness.
