It’s year-end wrap-up time.

And  Untappd’s Greg Avola, one of the founders of the popular mobile app that allows users to rate and review beer, has just posted Untappd’s top 10 cities based on the total number of global check-ins.

And we’ve got that for you along with the top beer that was checked-in that city.

10) Helsinki, Finland – Top Beer: Karhu III, Sinebrychoff brewery

9)  Utrecht, Netherlands – Top Beer: Hazy Weekend IPA, vandeStreek bier

8)   Philadelphia, PA – Top Beer: Philthy, Yards Brewing

7)  Gothenburg, Sweden – Top Beer: I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, Beerium

6)  Amsterdam, Netherlands – Top Beer: IJwit, Brouwerij ‘t IJ

5)  Oslo, Norway – Top Beer: Juicy IPA, Frydenlund Bryggerier

4)  Stockholm, Sweden – Top Beer: Apocalyptic Thunder Juice, Amundsen Brygger

3) Chicago, IL – Top Beer: Son of Juice, Maplewood Brewing

2) New York City, NY – Top Beer: Green City, Other Half Brewing

1) London, England – Top Beer: Neck Oil. Beavertown Brewery

Not suprisingly, the majority of top beer check-ins were IPAs, and the majority of those, Hazy/Juicy/ New England Style IPAs.
