Last week, the juggernaut that is the Tampa Bay beer scene continued to plow through every obstacle that's been put in its path. From Florida Senators who hate growlers to the retailers and distributors who hate tasting rooms, they just can't seem to slow down the momentum that has put Florida on the map - and this year's Tampa Bay Beer Week did not disappoint. Here are just a few highlights from the dozens of last week's events, so crack open a cold one and enjoy!

So many beers- So little time...The seasons are finally changing and the spring releases already in stores. And we've a number of exciting seasonals for you to check out.  Plus we've also new releases from Sixpoint and Anchor Brewing that sound pretty awesome as well.

You don't have to be a hipster to know about SXSW nowadays . . . It's a big, big deal, and it's gone mainstream. It's happening now in Austin and the world's come to visit for the music, for the media, for the tech and for the fun. Not only is Austin the place to be right now - It's the place to drink right now, because Austin is the craft beer capital of Texas!

It's been a tumultuous start to the year for the craft beer biz and it doesn't appear that things are going to slowing down any time soon. But no worries - Rumor Mill is on the case, keeping you plugged in to all the craft beer news that matters. Plus we've an all-important update on what we've been drinking lately and you absolutely don't want to miss that.

In America, everyone claims to be at least somewhat Irish and thus it's no surprise that March 17th has become a nationally acceptable day to throw down, put on a wacky green leprechaun costume, and drink a bunch of traditionally Irish beers. It could be worse--you could settle for some mass-produced lager with green food coloring in it, but you won't hear any of the ACB faithful offering up any such suggestions.

So with all this hubbub surrounding what has practically become a national holiday to some, it made us ask, just what the hell is this day about anyway?!

The Brewers Association just released 2014 data on American craft brewing's overall growth last year and the numbers once again were impressive. For the first-time ever, US craft brewers commanded a double-digit (11 percent) volume share of the marketplace...But that was just one of this report's many highlights...

So fasten your seatbelts everybody, because American craft beer is on a roll!

As you will have read, ACB's Editor-in-Chief Tom Bobak and I hit the British capital hard at the end of January. It was a great couple of days and I was thrilled to be able to show off what an amazing craft beer destination London is.
