With Christmas now behind us and New Year’s Eve just days away the party (parties?) will soon be over as an anxious nation looks to Navigating an alcohol-free January.
But thankfully there are now uber- interesting ways to approach this sober new world.
Bit by Bit (Bitburg, Germany) – – Bitburger, the family-owned German brewery founded more than 200 years ago, and home to signature Bitburger Premium Pils has just released a buzz-free alternative that we guarantee you will make “Dry January” a much easier coast.
Brewed using only water, barley malt, hops, and hop extract, adhering to the German Beer Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot), Bitburger 0.0% is a robust non-alcoholic German Pilsner that is rich in vitamins and true to the original, just without all that baggage. This beer is fully fermented, and the alcohol then carefully removed, which helps preserve the lagers authentic flavor profile, unlike too many non-alcoholic beers where fermentation is stopped early.
“We’re thrilled to see more and more people across the country enjoying Bitburger 0.0., and recognize several factors contributing to our success,” says Scott Baver, Bitburger USA. “There’s an undeniable movement in the industry to cleaner more traditional beers such as a premium German Pilsner and 0.0, as the no-alc space is one of the fastest growing segments in the beverage industry.

Colorado Sober (Denver, CO) – Fabric is a modern cannabis beverage brand that specializes in “Aussie-style” hemp-infused sparkling drinks. Designed as an alternative to alcohol, their products utilize Australian botanicals and hops to create functional, low-calorie beverages aimed at enhancing focus, relaxation, or social connection.
Fabric offers three distinct formulations tailored for different effects:
Fabric Clarity (Non-Psychoactive): Contains 10mg of CBG (cannabigerol) but zero THC. It is flavored with lemongrass, desert lime, and Galaxy hops, intended to promote focus and mental clarity without a “buzz”.
Fabric Rhythm (Low-Dose): A “microdosed” social drink featuring a blend of 1.5mg THC, 5mg CBG, and 25mg CBD. It has notes of orange peel and pearl lime, designed to feel similar to a light beer without the hangover.
Fabric Downtime (Higher Potency): Aimed at seasoned users or deeper relaxation, this version contains 10mg of THC and 10mg of CBD. It features blackberry, lemon myrtle, and Galaxy hops.
Fabric’s products use hemp-derived Delta-9 THC, which is federally legal in the US under the 2018 Farm Bill, provided the THC concentration is below 0.3% by dry weight. However, state-level regulations vary, and the brand advises checking local laws before purchase. As of 2025, they are widely available in liquor stores across Colorado and for shipping in select other states.
