NFL 2025: The Stadiums with the Cheapest & Most Expensive Beers

|September 4th, 2025|

Fans clinking beer glasses at a football stadium, representing NFL 2025 beer prices

The NFL roadshow is about to get underway for another six months of furious action from September through January. The football will, of course, take center stage across those 272 games, but we know that fans will also have a beer or two as they watch the games. Most stadiums now offer some form of craft beer, and we have seen a marked rise in sales of RTD (ready-to-drink) cocktails at NFL games.  But we averaged the cost of a domestic draft beer as a yardstick, comparing the cheapest and priciest ones that could be found in the NFL.

No one has ever left a stadium without discussing the cost of beer at the parking lot: drinking a cold beer is a component of the food and drink ritual during game days. To that end, we will analyze the relative price of a brew in each establishment below and give a brief overview of the state of all teams going into the new season. Please note that prices are approximate for a 16-oz draught beer on the eve of the 2025 preseason and are subject to change.

Top 5 Cheapest

Cincinnati Bengals, Paycor Stadium ($6.80)

The Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati is where you will currently find the cheapest brews across the league. Bengals fans have high hopes for making the Playoffs this season, with much expected of star quarterback Joe Burrow.

Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Browns Stadium ($7.15)

The Browns are widely considered one of the worst teams going into the new season, so at least fans know that they can drown their sorrows across the season without breaking the bank.

Detroit Lions, Ford Field ($7.20)

A beer for just over $7 in Motown isn’t bad at all. The Lions were one of the best entertainers across last season. They are well-priced in the odds for the NFL playoffs this time around to do well again. Good times in Detroit.

Minnesota Vikings, U.S. Bank Stadium ($8.05)

You can probably see the pattern by now: the cheapest beers you’ll find at football stadiums can be found in the Midwest. The Vikings will actually be playing in the first-ever NFL game held in Ireland in September, a fitting location, given Ireland’s place among the top European cities for beer. And, we have run the numbers and found that a Pint of Guinness at Croke Park comes in at 7.35 euros, or about $8.57.

Indianapolis Colts, Lucas Oil Stadium ($8.18)

The average cost of a 16-oz domestic beer in the Hoosier State is around $6.22, so it’s not a massive markup for the Lucas Oil Stadium. For fans, it means grabbing a drink doesn’t feel like an extra tax on top of the ticket. The Colts still feel a long, long way away from the glory days of Peyton Manning et al., but at least the beer tab is one of the easier parts of the game-day experience.

Top 5 Most Expensive

Washington Commanders, Commanders Field ($16.49)

The nation’s capital has the ‘honor’ of serving the most expensive beer in football. Hands up who thought it would be NYC? The Commanders played some great football last season, though, and in Jayden Daniels, they may have the most exciting young player in the league.

Las Vegas Raiders, Allegiant Stadium ($14.99)

Allegiant Stadium joins SoFi Stadium (see below) as the newest NFL stadium, opening its doors for the 2020 season. You can be almost certain that there is a correlation between the construction of a new stadium and increased prices. The Raiders have yet to see much success since moving to Sin City. That trend is predicted to continue this season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Raymond James Stadium ($14.25)

Tampa just squeaks inside the US top 50 cities in terms of population, but. It is comfortably in the top ten when it comes to expense.

San Francisco 49ers, Levi’s Stadium ($14.00)

It’s not surprising to see Levi’s Stadium on this list, given some of the cost-of-living expenses associated with living in the Bay Area. But here’s a question: The Super Bowl is going to be held in Levi’s Stadium next February: Do you think prices will rise for the game?

Los Angeles Chargers, SoFi Stadium (14.00) (Rams are tied at $14.00)

The SoFi Stadium is one of the newest and most expensive to build in the NFL, so the LA teams are going to need to recoup some of the $5-billion-plus outlay. That premium carries over to the fan experience, including what you’ll pay for a beer in the stands. Both teams have good chances for the Playoffs this season, and outside chances for the Super Bowl, but for many fans, the conversation starts with how much that cold draft is going to set them back on game day.
