So many beers- So little time… July has arrived and we’ve all the right beers for the season! Plus we’ve some interesting new offerings from Short’s and Firestone Walker that you’ll definitely want to get your sweaty little hands on.

Treasure Hunt (Baltimore, MD) – Heavy Seas Beer is taking a fresh look at an October tradition with a recent release. Heavy Seas TreasureFest 6% ABV rethink of the Oktoberfest lager, brewed with imported malt and lavishly hopped with a blend of German hops in the kettle and then dry hopped with American variants. 

A “Without Delay” IPA (Bellaire & Elk Rapids, MI) – Short’s has a new release that they will be packaging and distribute the beer within 24 hours – allowing customers to enjoy this beer on the same day it was packaged! Short’s Psychedelic Cat Grass as a triple dry hopped 7.1% ABV American India Pale Ale with a pineapple, mango and grapefruit nose and a hazy orange color.

Stouts In Stubbies (Indianapolis, IN) – Flat12 Bierworks brews a special stout that they release only twice a year, once during the winter holidays, and the other time as part of their “Christmas in July” which is taking place on October 23rd. Pinko! Is Flat12’s 10.5% “Russian Imperial” and this summer it’s making its debut in 8 ounce “stubby” cans.

A Luponic Revolution (Paso Robles, CA) – The second release from Firestone Walker’sLuponic Distortion Revolving Hop Series arrives this month as Luponic Distortion Revolution 001 rides off into the sunset. Luponic Distortion Revolution 002 is loaded with and an exotic mashup of hops from all over the world, that have been remixed slightly to deliver an interesting new palate of flavors and aromas. It’s both a continuum of the original beer and a departure – and that’s what makes this ongoing series so intriguing.

Getting Your Just Desserts (Lakewood, NY) – Southern Tier has a new Blackwater Series release that sounds sweet!  Southern Tier Salted Caramel is a massive 10% Imperial Milk Stout pumped out of its mind on Himalayan pink sea salt, and caramelized sugar. So now you won’t have to decide between having dessert or enjoying another beer.
