New Winter Craft Beers You Need To Chase Down
The holidays are on their way… and we’ve all the right beers for this time of year. Plus we’ve a special seasonal stout from Upslope that you’ll absolutely want to get your sweaty little hands on.
Citrus Tangerina (Boulder, CO) – Avery Brewing has a new winter addition to their Botanicals & Barrels Series that we can’t wait to get our hands on. Avery’s Tangerine Quad Ale is a full-bodied Belgian-Style Quadrupel Ale that boasts rich notes of dark-fruit, vanilla, and caramel – and with a burst of tangerine peel added to keep things sexy.
Founders First Of the New Year (Grand Rapids, MI) – Founders has a huge late January barrel-aged release that people are already buzzed about. Scheduled to debut first at the brewery’s taproom on January 25th and to ship in 12oz 4-packs shortly after that. Founders Frootwood is explained as a Cherry Ale aged in oak barrels that have previously held both bourbon and maple syrup.
A Winter Wheat (Downingtown, PA) – Victory Brewing has a new winter release that’s brewed refreshingly lighter in body than most traditional holiday beers out there today. Victory Winter Cheers is a 6.7% ABV crisp yet spicy Wheat Ale, that’s unapologetically pumped out of its mind on whole flower Tettnang and Citra hops. Yesssssssssssssss!
Heavy Metal To The Peddle (Denver, CO) – TRVE Brewing is celebrating the upcoming Winter Solstice with a new beer they’re releasing today, December 13th… Described as a dark Mixed Culture Ale aged on over 3.2 pounds of Colorado-grown sweet cherries per gallon of beer TRVE Black Celebration is a 6.8% ABV “Acid Temple” creation that pours dark crimson and sports an incredibly pink head.
Seasonal Cheer Colorado-Style (Boulder, CO) – One of the season’s most welcome annual winter releases is crafted by Upslope Brewing. Full-bodied yet relatively sessionable Upslope Oatmeal Stout is rich and robust 5% ABV cold weather seasonal that we always look forward to at this time of year.
