March is ON and American craft brewers are addressing the changing season with a variety of ambitious new offerings that are fun and user-friendly…

Doubling Down On Avarice (Denver, CO) – On March 14, the River North Brewery will be returning a fan favorite at both its taprooms. Bursting with BIG chocolate and roasted malt notes and available on tap as well as in bottles to go, Barrel Aged Avarice is a dark, hefty 17.4% ABV Dry Stout that was aged to perfection for over six months in Knob Creek whiskey barrels.

Ways To Get Altered (Downers Grove, IL) – Alter Brewing Company bolstered its array of seasonal beers with the canned release of fan favorite that was one of the fastest selling draft beers they’ve ever produced. The first of four canned seasonal releases planned for 2020, Alter Heavy Squeeze is a 5.5% ABV Lemon Wheat Ale that is primed for the changing seasons.

Founders Releases A ‘Michigan Only’ IPA (Grand Rapids, MI) – Founders Brewing has announced its new Brewed for MI’ Series, a line of three Michigan exclusive beers planned to roll out this year. Available in 6-pack cans and on draft beginning on March 11 in the Grand Rapids taproom, Founders Red’s Rye IPA is a 6.6% ABV India Pale Ale with intense grapefruit aromatics and spicy, crisp Amarillo-hop fueled finish. Once again, this fan and employee taproom favorite will only be available in Michigan …so maybe a road trip?

Half Acre Cans A Player (Chicago, IL) – Low ABV beers are becoming a bigger part of what Half Acre Beer does and they’ve released an exciting new one. Available as a year-round beginning in March, Half Acre Tome is a 5.5% Hazy Pale Ale with a balanced mouthfeel and BIG juicy tropical fruit notes.
