If ever there was a time for drinking at home and supporting you favorite craft brewery…that time is now.
And with Memorial Day marking summer’s ‘unofficial’ arrival we’re going uber-seasonal…
We’re psyched! (San Francisco, CA) – For the third year in a row, Anchor Brewing and San Franpsycho®, a community-based clothing and lifestyle brand, are returning their award-winning collaboration beer. First crafted as part of a larger experiment at Anchor’s Public Taps pilot brewery & bar in Potrero Hill, Anchor San Franpsycho IPA is a 6.3% ABV India Pale Ale that was brewed with peach and apricot purees added during secondary fermentation.
“Public Taps is a gathering place for locals and tourists alike to share our small-batch brews. We create something brand new here on a near weekly basis,” said Anchor Brewmaster Scott Ungermann. “This stone fruit IPA gained tremendous feedback from the community a few years back.”
Available now in both cans and bottle, Anchor’s special seasonal release won Gold for Best American IPA in the World Beer Awards.
High On Flavor and Low on Regret (Paso Robles, CA) –For the many of us who might have put on a pound or two during the COVID-19 lockdown, Firestone Walker has the perfect beer for your Memorial Day enjoyment. Crafted for drinkers who keep an active and healthy lifestyle, but don’t want to sacrifice flavor for fewer calories, Firestone Walker Flyjack is a 4% ABV India Pale Ale with only 96 calories and the kind of character and mouthfeel that is normally associated with higher-octane Hazy IPAs.
Perfectly Timed For You Memorial Day Drinking (Malden, MA) –Idle Hands Craft Ales has a new canned offering that should pair brilliantly with your long holiday weekend. A Czech beer style that is currently being rediscovered in the US, Idle Hands Time Enough at Last is a clean 5.1 ABV copper-hued Lager with a welcome touch of fruitiness and balanced bitterness.
