Brooklyn Brewery’s James Beard Award-winning Brewmaster, Garrett Oliver explains…

“My summer Playa is in Brooklyn— in my own rooftop garden, lined with palm trees and drenched in sunshine, where Playa de Brooklyn is the star of my frequent barbecues. And my winter Playa is in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, where I spend weeks every January recharging my solar battery until I’m back up on my roof. I created Playa de Brooklyn to capture that feeling—it takes me straight to that beautiful Mexican beach, puts sunshine on my face and palm trees over my head, no matter where I actually am.”

Available nationwide in clear glass bottles, as well as on draft and well in cans Playa de Brooklyn struck a chord with drinkers for its lighter, fruity flavor after debuting as a limited-edition offering in Brooklyn Brewery’s Tasting Room in 2022.
