Fall is ON and American craft brewers are addressing the season with a fresh roster of new beers you’re gonna want to have around as things cool down.

Hoppy Anniversary (Escondido, CA) –  Founded in 1996, Stone Brewing is celebrating its 28th anniversary with something special. Brewed with straightforward menu of carefully curated Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin hops, Stone 28 is an 8.5% ABV Hazy Double IPA with fresh mango, sweet aromatic orange cream, marmalade & lime notes and a surprisingly off-dry finish that’s both intensely fruity and tropical.

“We are fortunate to be able to purchase the best ingredients in the world,” Jeremy Moynier, Sr. Manager of Brewing & Supply Chain said. “When you open a box of Nelson Sauvin hops, you can smell its distinctive fruity aroma from across the brewery.  Mosaic provides some structure, citrus, and dankness to the brew. This one was hands-down deserving of the coveted anniversary beer label.”

Affogato Baby! (Milton, DE) – Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is celebrating the onset of fall with a brand-new variation of its highly sought-after World Wide Stout that is a homage to the Affogato, a classic Italian dessert.

Affogato, known in full in Italian as affogato al caffè and gelato affogato al caffè, is an Italian dessert comprising a scoop of gelato or ice cream, either plain milk-flavored or vanilla, topped with hot espresso. Some variations add a shot of amaretto, Kahlúa, or other liqueur.

Brewed with a ridiculous amounts of barley, this year’s World Wide Stout iteration, Dogfish Head Affogato World Wide Stout is an uber rich and roasty, 15% ABV Imperial Stout with added notes of espresso and sweet vanilla for a liquid version of the well-known Italian treat. And at 15% ABV it might not even be legal in some states.

1980s-Inspired (Seattle, WA) – In 1981, Redhook Brewery was born in a converted transmission shop in Ballard, Washington, kickstarting the Seattle craft brewing movement. And Redhook is still kicking it with one of the most historic IPAs in the nation.

Crafted with a smart mix Sabro, El Dorado, Bru-1, Cascade hops, Big Ballard Hazy Imperial IPA is a BIG 8.7% ABV India Pale Ale with bright citrus and tropical notes and a soft, approachable body. Crafted in the PNW for the PNW, this 80s-inspired hazy is big, bold, juicy and unapologetic.
