Since today is National IPA Day, we’ve an ALL-IPA selection of recent releases that you’ll want to celebrate the day with…

Best Western (Littleton, CO) – Breckenridge Brewery has a new addition to its ever-evolving portfolio that is a tribute to the untamed beauty of Colorado’s trails and to those who are drawn to them. Crafted in a style that a style that has reemerged in popularity amongst craft beer drinkers who are serious about their hops, Breckenridge Ridge Runner is a 7.4% ABV West Coast-Style IPA with notes of bright citrus and pine, that is hopped out of its mind using Citra lupulin powder and whole cone hops.

“We’re really excited to create a West Coast style IPA with Ridge Runner, which allows us to showcase 35 years of craftsmanship and experience perfecting the double dry hop,” said Carl Heinz, brewmaster of Breckenridge Brewery. “The result is a beer that celebrates the Colorado lifestyle and is ideal for toasting the trail less traveled.”

The Right Field (Hershey, PA) – Tröegs Independent Brewing has returned a popular limited release that evolved from its experimental small-batch Scratch Series. Mercilessly dry-hopped with Citra, Mosaic and El Dorado, Tröegs Field Study is a 6.2% ABV slightly hazy IPA with bright grapefruit, mango, pear and melon notes.

“Field Study began life as Scratch #327, when we first started tinkering with some new hopping techniques,” explains Tröegs brewmaster John Trogner. “We built on those experiments over the next few Scratch releases and landed on a grain bill featuring a backbone of Rustic Pale Malt.”

“Rustic Pale malt is kilned slightly higher than most pale malts to amplify the complex cereal and slightly nutty notes,” added Trogner.

New Crush (Paso Robles, CA) – Firestone Walker Brewing has a bold new addition to its growing family of Mind Haze IPA variations and this one is unapologetically aggressive. Built around two ultra-tropical hops—Galaxy and Strata, Mind Haze Cosmic Crusher is a 9.5% ABV juicy Imperial India Pale Ale with a high-octane profile and a punchy mango and pineapple character.

“Mind Haze is one of our most celebrated beers and has become a playground where we explore our wildest ideas on where IPAs can go, allowing us to deliver world-class beers that meet the diverse taste buds of today’s drinkers,” said Brewmaster Matt Brynildson. “The yeast does a lot of heavy lifting in this beer, bringing all this flavor and aroma to the forefront while keeping the beer in balance.”

Delicious Delivers (Escondido, CA) – Stone Brewing has a new addition to its impressive Delicious Series, which like all the beers in the line is also gluten reduced. A gluten-reduced Hazy IPA is hard to come by. Not only does this one exist, but it also packs an unparalleled flavor rendering that gluten conversation nearly irrelevant.

Crafted with Sabro, El Dorado and Azacca hops, Stone Delicious Hazy IPA is a 7.2% ABV year-round offering with peach and pineapple notes and a lingering finish.
