Natural Light, an affordable beer brand with a large college and post-college following, is launching a tropical take on its Naturdays line with a promotion that’s right on time.
Here’s the deal…
Introduced in 1977, Natural Light was Anheuser-Busch’s first reduced-calorie light beer, instantly becoming a hit at colleges across the nation.
In 1995, Natural Ice debuted, featuring a higher ABV that quickly made it America’s best-selling ice beer.
In 2008, Natural Light shocked the world, taking bronze at the World Beer Cup for “American-style light lager”. With that honor in pocket, Natural Light went into orbit in 2011, becoming the first beer in space.
In 2019 Natural Light introduced Naturdays Strawberry Lemonade, a Shandy-like take on Natural Light. We made fun of it at the time, but what do we know, it became a huge hit especially with younger beer consumers.
“We designed Naturdays with all-day refreshment in mind,” said Daniel Blake Senior Director of Value Brands at Anheuser-Busch. “We’re excited to introduce a light beer to the market… that will get people to rethink their drink of choice.”
And now Natural light is introducing a second flavor, Naturdays Pineapple Lemonade, and offering one lucky winner (and 5 closest friends) a secluded Spring Break getaway to a deserted island.
“Following the success of Naturdays Strawberry Lemonade, we wanted to continue the momentum by adding a refreshing, tropical variety to the Naturdays family,” said Daniel Blake added. “Inspired by that spirit, we’re celebrating the release of Naturdays Pineapple Lemonade by offering our fans the vacation of a lifetime, because everyone could use a little fun in the sun right now.”
