It’s been a difficult time for college students now weathering the coronavirus pandemic along with their parents at home. No spring break in Cancun, no all-night keg parties, no nothing…until now.

Anheuser-Busch’s less than premium beer brand, Natural Light, (or Natty Light as it’s known on the nation’s now vacated campuses) is offering a summer internship to someone the company deems “natty-qualified.”

The good news is you’ll make $40 and hour helping the company explore new drink flavors.

The bad news is that due to the coronavirus pandemic which has effectively put an end to any kind of college fun, this year’s summer internship will be a virtual one….So you’ll be drinking in front of the computer in your childhood bedroom.

“We know how crucial internships are for our fans and how summer work experiences are the launching pad for their future success. We just couldn’t let the current situation overshadow this important step in their careers,” said Daniel Blake, vice president of US Value Brands at Anheuser-Busch.

, Natural Light Offers Virtual Summer InternshipThe internship is full time, so you’ll have to explain to your parents that the reason you smell like beer at ten in the morning is “because you’re working.”

You should also explain that the Natural Light summer internship isn’t just about drinking. You’ll also be asked to research on the latest trends in flavor mixology, attend video conferences with the Natural Light brand team and post weekly vlogs documenting the experience on social media.

And yes, Anheuser-Busch will be providing the beer, but don’t expect a shipment of the Natty Light 77-Pack that some accused of fostering campus binge drinking.

To apply, you must be at least 21 or older (or have a convincing fake ID). You’ll also need to be energetic, have a decent Wi-Fi connection, and mad social media skills.

And no…wearing Natty Light branded underwear is not a requirement….Besides, Mom wouldn’t like that.
